The recipient will be responsible for high availability and continuity of technology and infrastructure in multiple Data Centers across Canada.\nThe recipient will have extensive experience in implementing, maintaining and supporting Windows and Linux servers, provisioning storage, and interconnectivity of all Data Centre systems.\nThe recipient will have strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills as well as be able to adapt to changing, fast-paced and high-pressure work environment.\nSpecifically, You Will:\nDesign, implement and maintain Data Centre equipment including, but not limited to, servers, storage, network switches, and vendor appliances.\nTravel as required to Data Centers to implement, maintain and troubleshoot the environment.\nBuild and maintain virtual and physical servers on Windows and Linux platforms.\nManage and monitor virtual environment using VMware vCenter.\nCreate/modify/delete objects and resources in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS management using Infoblox or similar technology/services and Group Policy Objects.\nBuild and manage Cloud VM’s and resources.\nImplement and maintain file share services, web services, SFTP/FTP services, SSL certificates.\nAutomate and streamline processes using PowerShell, Command Shell and other languages and technologies.\nProvide escalation level support to Help Desk and other departments. \nOn-call/after-hours support duties on a rotational basis amongst the team.\nSome of what you need:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field of study and/or 5 + years of equivalent IT working experience.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional server/systems administration role.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience supporting virtualized environments. \nMust have a drive to continually improve and a passion for evolving technology\nHPE Synergy-series blades and chassis, DL-series rack-mount servers, 3PAR storage and knowledge/experience with other comparable brands.\nIIS, SFTP, FTP, InfoBlox/DNS, SSL Certificates and Splunk.\nAbility to work effectively, both independently or as a team member. \nExcellent interpersonal and customer services skills.\nPhysical demands/working conditions:\nOffice environment -
