Instead of cables and outlets, Star Catcher is building the technology to wirelessly beam energy to spacecraft’s existing solar panels when and where they need it.\nBe an early member of a team building an entirely new energy infrastructure at scale to power the next frontier.\nStar Catcher Industries, Inc., located in Jacksonville, Florida, has an opportunity for a Project Scheduler to support the development of space-to-space power beaming spacecraft and the Star Catcher Network, its orbital power grid. This role will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and executing design and implementation of systems or components used on spacecraft, satellites, and other space-related technologies. \nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, build, and maintain integrated project schedules from project initiation through closeout, ensuring all activities, milestones, and dependencies are accurately captured and in coordination with cross functional teams.\nPerform critical path analysis to identify activities that drive project completion and highlight areas of schedule risk.\nAnalyze schedule variances and delays, determine root causes, and recommend recovery strategies or workaround options to keep projects on track.\nEvaluate the schedule impact of proposed scope changes, change orders, and unforeseen events, and support time-impact analyses and claims as needed.\nFacilitate planning activities, including system schedule generation, updates, resource coordination, and change management processes.\nCollaborate with project leadership, technical teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to collect project data and ensure alignment on project objectives.\nInterface with suppliers, contract manufacturers, launch providers, and customers to ensure deliverables track to project schedule delivery.\nMaintain project documentation, records, and reporting systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.\nAs needed, prepare and present program status updates, technical documentation, resource forecasts, and executive-level reports to leadership.\nExperience with hardware development lifecycles, including design, manufacturing, integration, testing, and deployment of engineering systems.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience supporting project planning, scheduling, cost control, or project management activities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret project as well as technical data to identify trends.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.\nProficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, Agile, or equivalent platforms.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with project or product development within aerospace, defense, robotics, or other high-technology industries.\nExperience supporting spacecraft, launch vehicle, satellite, payload, or ground systems programs.\nFamiliarity with NASA, DoD, FAA, or commercial space industry standards and regulations.\nPMP or similar project/program management certification.\nHelp us deploy and scale space infrastructure that will drive our utilization of space forward!
