STAR complies with applicable STAR and local laws governing non-discrimination in employment in every location in which we have facilities.\nThe Infrastructure Supervisor position is included in a workplace model that allows a combination of in-person and remote work.\nAs the Infrastructure Supervisor, essential responsibilities include:\nDevelop goals based on IT Strategic Plan and prioritize work for the team, coaching staff to meet established objectives as needed.\nEnsure effective delivery of IT services through establishment and monitoring of SLAs.\nActively engaged with the disaster recovery planning, preparation and execution.\nPrioritize departmental and organization based projects with direction from Technology Operations leadership.\nManages the staff in addition to other Human Resources responsibilities such as: hiring, and if necessary disciplinary action and dismissal, setting and monitoring goals, career development, delivering performance appraisals, and approving merit increases.\nIdentify ways for individuals within the team to develop themselves professionally and help build career paths.\nEvaluate processes to ensure practical application of industry best practices.\nProvides input into strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of information and technology systems.\nMonitor IT infrastructure resources for performance, availability and security.\nDevelops and enforces policy and procedure to ensure the protection of STAR assets and the integrity, security, and privacy of information.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and assess potential use in STAR’s environment.\nAs needed, architect IT environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.\nResponsible for the integrity of STAR’s data center infrastructure components such as servers, storage, virtualization, network, and cloud-delivered solutions. Research current technology trends, attend workshops, user meetings, and conferences, and complete technical training to identify emerging technology STAR may leverage.\nCreate and maintain documentation as it relates to infrastructure configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.\nAssist engineers in implementing new IT systems and performing maintenance of existing IT systems.\nSkills Needed:\nAssociate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.\n2+ years of leadership and/or supervisory experience.\nProven track record of managing IT based projects.\nExcellent oral and written communications skills.\nExperience managing vendor and service provider relationships.\nAbility to communicate at all levels of the organization.\nAbility to lead and coach employees to perform at their best.\nAble to link and apply complex technologies to business strategies.\nStrong project management, organizational skills and attention to details.\nExperience with infrastructure and systems design.\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.\nIn
