Primary duties will involve the design, development, and testing of advanced algorithms as well as data reduction and interpretation of data from real-time optical sensor platforms. A well-suited applicant will be a self-motivating individual capable of working independently and within a team environment and possess good oral and written communication skills. The position also includes opportunities to work hands-on with land, sea, and air-based sensors both in the lab and supporting test events.\nAs a Data Analyst/Optics Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:\nAnalyzing data, algorithms, and their interaction to improve algorithm performance.\n\nInterpreting data, performing statistical analysis, and analyzing results using statistical techniques.\n\nResearch and develop new analysis methodologies to improve analysis quality and efficiency.\n\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams.\n\nPresenting analysis to peers and management.\n\nExcellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship\n\nBachelor’s Degree degree in physics, engineering, or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience AND 5+ years of related experience.
