Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is currently seeking an Entry-LevelRadar Engineer to support the Tactical Missile Systems team on Redstone Arsenal. This position offers a unique mentorship opportunity to work alongside a senior radar engineer. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a foundational understanding of electromagnetic physics who is eager to learn how to develop, integrate, and analyze software models and simulations of radars and RF phenomenology.\nJob Duties:\nIntegrate vendor-supplied RF software models into a common C++ simulation framework and scene generation environment.\n\nDevelop and implement math and physics-based models for RF phenomenology (e.g., RCS, environmental clutter, signal propagation, and antenna patterns).\n\nDevelop and execute MATLAB and Python analysis scripts to evaluate signal processing algorithms, RF component models, and integrated radar system performance.\n\nJob Requirements:\nUS Citizenship.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.\n\n0-2 years experience (or equivalent academic/project experience) with software development, modeling and simulation, radar systems, RF phenomenology, and/or data analysis.\n\nExperience using MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages to solve mathematical problems, analyze datasets, or model physical systems.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as an individual.\n\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\n\nPreferred Requirements:\nExperience effectively communicating complex topics.\n\nA strong interest or foundational experience in radar systems, electromagnetics theory, or digital signal processing.\n\nExperience developing and executing statistical studies (e.g., Monte Carlo analysis) using MATLAB or Python.\n\nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\nWork Location: Customer- site\nTravel: Yes, 0-10%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\n\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
