Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking a Entry-Level Design Engineer/Analyst to support our Air & Missile Defense Business Unit.\nAs a Entry-Level Design Engineer/Analyst your duties will include but are not limited to the following technical responsibilities outline below.\nDevelop and review plans and reports to ensure system and software operates and meets requirements and/or design specifications.\nReview design, system and test documentation related to requirements and test output.\nProvide technical expertise in data analyzed through verification and validation process.\nUtilize strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with team members internal and external to the organization.\nDevelop post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance.\nPerform detailed performance analyses, produce actionable insights, and suggest architectural or algorithmic enhancements.\nPerform remediations of V&V results as required.\nRecord and close defects found during analysis activities (Root Cause, JIRA Tickets, Anomalies Reporting).\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship. \nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. \n0-5 years of relevant experience.\nAbility to perform evaluations of various software related products and cover assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation.\nAbility to configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete analysis.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux technologies.\nGood organizational skills in keeping structural repositories (GIT, SharePoint).\nAbility to learn and adapt to customer’s Environment and Processes.\nMust be knowledgeable of requirements and data used for analysis.\nMust have ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance.\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience reviewing requirements, design, and CDRLs documents such as: Software Requirement Specification (SRS), and Software Design Description (SDD), etc.\nStrong programming skills in software languages: c, c++, java, python, html, matLab.\nExperience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall and Agile methodologies, Validation and Verification testing and analysis.\nExperience with requirements and traceability analysis and management.\nKnowledge of military and software development industry standards, or other software standards and software requirement.\nExperience with automated testing environment, frameworks, and programming languages.\nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\nWork Location: Customer-site\nTravel: Yes, up to 10%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\n#LI-TS1\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
