Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Interceptor Systems Engineer to support advanced defense and engineering programs. This role involves developing analytical tools, performing system-level evaluations, and contributing to mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced, technical environment.The ideal candidate has a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges.\nAs a Interceptor Systems Engineer your duties will include, but are not limited to:\nDevelops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced system requirements and problems.\n\nDeveloping and reviewing plans and reports to ensure system and software operations comply with requirements and design specifications.\n\nPerform system-level analysis to identify performance issues and optimization opportunities.\n\nPerforming detailed performance analyses, generating actionable insights, and recommending architectural or algorithmic improvements.\n\nTranslate technical requirements into simulation configurations and test cases within virtualized environments.\n\nAnalyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and system inefficiencies.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability.\n\nSupport troubleshooting efforts across distributed systems and infrastructure.\n\nContribute technical documentation, reports, and customer deliverables.\n\nAssist in planning and executing engineering tasks to meet program deadlines.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nUS Citizenship.\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).\n\nExperience: 8 years of progressively complex software engineering experience.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience with system analysis, data processing, Interceptor, C2 or radar/sensor systems.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExperience supporting system testing, validation, or verification efforts.\n\nAbility to participate in customer meetings, document findings, and remediate issues.\n\nCandidate must currently possess a DoW SECRET clearance.\n\nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\nWork Location: Customer- site: No telework option available\nTravel: Yes, 0-10%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
