Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking a Project Manager - Technical to join a team supporting Agile software development by coordinating with software developers, the developer lead, scrum master, and test lead to establish priorities, manage schedules, refine backlogs, and deliver software releases.\nAs a Project Manager - Technical, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:\nHandle customer coordination, including negotiating requirements, deadlines, schedules, and access to necessary information or equipment.\nRegularly brief schedule updates, roadblocks, risks, and other project status information.\nTrack deliverables, create long-term schedules, translate requirements and bug reports into meaningful work items, and prioritize the work item backlog to meet deadlines.\nAttend team Scrum meetings, including standups, sprint planning meetings, and sprint review meetings.\nIdentify process- or equipment-related roadblocks and inefficiencies.\nWork with the team to create and distribute release packages for customers.\nAssist with maintaining and updating required project-level documentation.\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship\nBachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or a related degree or equivalent experience. \n2 years Project Management experience.\n1+ years of experience working as a product owner, scrum master, project manager, or in an equivalent role.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret security clearance.\nFluency with the Microsoft Office toolset.\nSolid understanding of Agile software development and Scrum principles.\nDemonstrated ability to create schedules, prioritize and refine a backlog, meet tracked deadlines, and maintain a steady pace of work.\nStrong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nAbility to work directly with Agile software developers and testers.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3+ years of experience working as a product owner, scrum master, project manager, or in an equivalent role.\nActive DoW Secret security clearance.\nExperience with Azure DevOps or similar tools and services supporting the software development lifecycle.\nExperience using Microsoft Project to create Integrated Master Schedules.\nSchedule: Full-time\nWork Location: Onsite, Huntsville, Alabama\nTravel: Yes, 0-10%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
