Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking a skilled Simulation Interface Unit (SIU) Operator with experience in System-of-Systems (SoS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) to support the Missile Defense Agency Director for Ground Test (MDA/DTG). The SIU Operator will participate in MDA Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) test events by remotely operating SIUs and operate OSF software located in Missile Defense System (MDS) Element HWIL laboratories.\nAs a Simulation Interface Unit (SIU) Operator your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:\nExecute simulation framework applications \nExecute post-run data collection scripts and move data to a central location for uploading to the MDA data center \nMaintain active accounts with appropriate user permissions on each SIU \nFollow SIU Operator procedures and document departures from normal procedures \nMonitor computer resources (e.g., available hard disk space) on each SIU and report when resources are insufficient to support testing \nMaintain daily run log sheets \nWrite and follow procedures, document configuration requirements and changes, and verify system, software, and hardware settings continuously \nReport anomalous simulation behavior (e.g., intercepts not occurring as expected, intercept debris not generated, etc.) \nWork with M&S Integration Manager to coordinate for event connectivity requirements \nProactively troubleshoot and overcome functional/technical problems. \nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship\nBS in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science from an accredited university\n0-5 years’ experience\nActive clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days of offer\nParticipates in a multi-disciplinary team to solve technically complex problems\nCritical Thinking for with Strong problem-solving skills\nAbility to Troubleshoot Software issues\nSelf-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills\nCapable of working in a team environment that includes participant lab personnel\nOrganizational skills with attention to detail\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience using Linux; experience writing Linux scripts is a plus\nGood communication skills\nLinux+ Certification \nExperience with the Missile Defense Agency, operations center, or a ballistic missile defense system. \nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\nWork Location: Onsite\nTravel: 0-25%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
