Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Software Analyst to support advanced defense and engineering programs. This role involves developing analytical tools, performing system-level evaluations, and contributing to mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced, technical environment.\nThe ideal candidate has a strong foundation in C, C++, JAVA, Pyton and MATLAB, experience with simulation frameworks, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges.\nAs Software Analyst, your duties will include, but are not limited to:\nDevelop and review plans and reports to ensure system and software operate and comply with requirements and/or design specifications.\nReview design, system and test documentation related to requirements and test output.\nProvide technical expertise in data analyzed through verification and validation process.\nCandidates must be knowledgeable of requirements and data used for analysis.\nUtilize strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with team members internal and external to the organization.\nDevelop post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance.\nPerform detailed performance analyses, produce actionable insights, and suggest architectural or algorithmic enhancements.\nSupport and develop automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins) by creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline jobs, scripts, and plugins.\nRequired Qualifications:\nUS Citizenship.\nBachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Software, Electrical Engineering or a related field.\n3+ years of relevant engineering experience.\nAbility to perform evaluations of various software related products and cover assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation.\nStrong programming skills in software languages: c, c++, java, python, html , matLab.\nExperience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall and Agile methodologies, Validation and Verification testing and analysis.\nAbility to configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete analysis.\nKnowledge of military and software development industry standards, and software requirement.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux technologies.\nMust have an active security clearance. \nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience reviewing requirements, design, and CDRLs documents such as: Software Requirement Specification (SRS), and Software Design Description (SDD), etc.\nExperience with requirements and traceability analysis and management.\nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\nWork Location: Customer- site: No telework option available\nTravel: Yes, 0-10%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
