Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking aSystem Administrator to join our team.\nAs a Systems Administrator your duties will include, but are not limited to:\nProvide cybersecurity-focused systems administration, sustainment, and technical support for the flight’s Windows- and Linux-based data-processing, software-development, test-support, and mission-information environments.\nOperate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, patch, upgrade, and document servers, workstations, virtualized environments, storage, network services, and associated applications.\nPerform system configuration; Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance and security hardening; account, privilege, and access management; vulnerability scanning and remediation; configuration and change management; backup and recovery; audit-log review; incident-response support; and maintenance of cybersecurity and system documentation.\nProvide systems-administration and cybersecurity support for Automation/Artificial Intelligence (A/AI) and Modeling and Simulation (ModSim) systems supporting the Seeker and Sensor open-air test mission. This includes standalone large language model (LLM) capabilities in air-gapped environments; GPU-accelerated computing resources; containerized applications; software libraries; automated workflows; test-support applications; and data pipelines.\nPerform all work in accordance with applicable Department of War cybersecurity requirements, Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls, applicable security implementation guidance (including JSIG), configuration-management procedures, and secure DevSecOps practices.\nInstall new or rebuild existing servers (both physical and virtual) and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage in Windows and Linux environments.\nParticipate in the end-to-end process of obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) and the activities required to maintain that authority.\nConduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs tailored through the RMF; identify tactics, techniques, and procedures used by malicious actors and recommend remediation strategies.\nApply information security policies, methods, standards, FISMA, and NIST standards and practices to organizational information systems.\nPerform all functional duties independently in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, and executing necessary tasks leading to successful accomplishment of assigned duties.\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship.\nOver 3 years of systems administration experience.\nSupporting Windows and Linux environments.\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
