Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Junior Radar Modeling and Simulation Engineer to contribute to the development and analysis of advanced missile defense simulations. This role involves designing, implementing, and validating complex simulations to assess system performance, inform design decisions, and support critical defense initiatives.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDevelop, integrate, and maintain high-fidelity missile and sub-system models within various simulation environments (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python).\nPerform detailed performance analysis of missile systems, especially RF seeker.\nConduct trade studies and sensitivity analyses to optimize missile designs and identify key performance drivers.\nValidate simulation models against flight test data, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) results, and other authoritative sources.\nSupport the development and execution of constructive and virtual simulations for mission planning, concept development, and operational analysis.\nCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and subject matter experts.\nDocument simulation methodologies, results, and findings in technical reports and presentations.\nPresent technical findings to internal and external stakeholders, including government customers.\nJob Qualifications:\nUS Citizenship.\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n2+ years of experience in missile modeling and simulation or a related field.\nExperience and/or coursework in radar design/analysis and signal processing.\nProficiency in C++, Fortran, and/or MATLAB.\nStrong understanding of radar analysis and digital signal processing.\nFamiliarity with missile defense systems, weapon system performance, or related defense technologies is highly desired.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nMust possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.\nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\nWork Location: Customer- site: No telework option available\nTravel: Yes,0-10%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match and safe-harbor contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
