Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer\nproviding support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Electronic Systems Directorate (AFLCMC/ES) at Hanscom AFB, MA. The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Electronic Systems (AFPEO/ES) has the collective AFMC mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Electronic Systems portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/ES is headquartered at Hanscom AFB, MA, with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS. This position is with AFLCMC/ESA and will provide systems engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, test, operation, sustainment, and system disposal.\nAs a Senior Systems Engineer your duties include, but are not limited to the following:\nProvide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle.\n\nApply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.\n\nProvide systems, electrical, and/or mechanical engineering support for new and legacy DoD systems\n\nAccomplish and coordinate engineering tasks for modifications and systems upgrades\n\nProvide support to customers including data analysis, modification programs, repair requirements, reliability/maintainability actions, and worldwide user support\n\nAssist in designing, planning, execution, analysis, reporting, and documentation during any phase of test and evaluation programs, including applicable FAA certifications and procedures\n\nProvide engineering review of programs throughout the life-cycle\n\nReview and ensure all engineering-related documents are accurate and complete\n\nParticipate in the development of system specifications and system architecture products\n\nParticipate in test and evaluation support, including planning, test conduct, and evaluation of results against operational requirements\n\nAssist in scheduling and securing required test resources in support of project and program office objectives\n\nProvide technical evaluation of contractor proposals\n\nMonitor, assess, and report on test and evaluation efforts; provide recommendations for test facility improvements\n\nSupport development of system and program technical plans, including review of technical documents, participation in working groups, tracking risks/issues, and reviewing test plans, procedures, and data\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship\n\nBachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with at least 5 years supporting the DoW OR\n\n15 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoW\n\nModular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA)\n\nSystems Architecture Development\n\nSystem Modeling (SysML, Cameo, Rhapsody)\n\nInterface Control Documentation (ICDs)\n\nRequirements Development & Management\n\nCommunications & Networking Systems\n\nAir Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS)\n\nRadar & Surveillance Systems Integration\n\nRequest for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP) Development\n\nStatement of Work (SOW) Development\n\nSource Selection & Vendor Evaluation\n\nMicrosoft Office 365 & SharePoint\n\nSolidWorks\n\nStrong collaboration within cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to build relationships with government, military, and contractor stakeholders\n\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills\n\nProblem-solving and sound decision-making abilities\n\nEffective technical communication with both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\n\nAdaptability in a fast-paced, evolving program environment\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills\n\nAbility to facilitate requirements discussions and coordinate across functional teams\n\nDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy\n\nTeam-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to achieving program objectives\n\nMust have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance.\n\nSchedule: (M-F; 8-5)\nWork Location: (onsite on Hanscom AFB)\nTravel: Yes, 20%\nRelocation Assistance Available: (No)\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: (No)\nSalary Range $135,000 - $150,000\nThe salary range information is a general guideline only.
