Come grow with us!\nTorch Technologies is seeking a Systems Architect 4 to join a team developing modern enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, and analytical software solutions that support Missile Defense Agency initiatives. This position supports mission-critical software development, enterprise analytics, cloud modernization efforts, and system performance analysis activities.\nAs a Systems Architect 4, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise software solutions using .NET technologies.\n\nDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, data processing components, and analytical tools.\n\nTranslate mission and business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions.\n\nSupport cloud modernization initiatives, including hybrid-cloud and container-based deployments.\n\nDevelop database-driven applications using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.\n\nParticipate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, task tracking, and team collaboration.\n\nSupport enterprise analytics, dashboards, ETL pipelines, and AI/LLM-enabled solutions.\n\nConduct application security reviews and support vulnerability assessment activities.\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.\n\n7+ years of progressively responsible experience in .NET application development and enterprise software engineering.\n\nActive Secret Security Clearance required.\n\nStrong proficiency with .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.\n\nExperience designing and developing REST APIs using .NET Web API or similar frameworks.\n\nExperience developing database-driven applications using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.\n\nKnowledge of DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.\n\nExperience using Agile project management and tracking tools such as Jira.\n\nExperience performing application security code reviews and/or vulnerability assessments.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience leading cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.\n\nFamiliarity with container platforms and hybrid-cloud environments.\n\nExperience implementing security and compliance controls throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\n\nKnowledge of enterprise data architecture, ETL pipelines, business intelligence tools, and dashboard development.\n\nHands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) platforms, including Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Palantir, or similar technologies.\n\nExperience supporting software administration activities, including Python/Anaconda environments, Tableau administration, or Jira administration.\n\nExperience with Python development or integration of Python-based services.\n\nCompTIA Security+ certification.\n\nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\nWork Location: Onsite, Huntsville, Alabama\nTravel: 0-10%\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\nBenefits:\nTorch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.\nApplying to Torch Technologies:\nOnly those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
