The data scientist works closely with key internal and external stakeholders to develop new Al products or new application areas for Al.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nArchitect scalable Agentic AI systems using multi-agent architectures that can autonomously plan, decide, and execute tasks, integrating with enterprise data, APIs, and business workflows to support internal and external\nDesign and develop next generation of scalable Telco Big Data Analytics Models to support commercial projects across various business verticals.\nPropose and design effective analytical approaches taking into consideration performance and scalability to large datasets, adhering to best practices for model development, and perform unit and system testing to validate the results of the analytics models.\nConstantly review and ensure that current methodology conforms and meets industry standards.\nPropose and develop new analytics models and innovative techniques and algorithms to enhance SmartHub capabilities and value proposition of Telco Big Data.\nIndependently develop solutions that adopt and leverage on latest AI/ML models including GenAI and LLM to deliver exceptional value to internal/external stakeholders.\nParticipate and contribute to stakeholders' requirement gatherings sessions, co-creation workshops to size up stakeholders' problem statements and formulate and review best approaches to analytic solutions and models.\nLead the technical collaboration with industry or research institutes to propose new potential areas for collaboration..\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics or related disciplines, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Big Data analytics application development OR Master’s degree or PhD in computer science or related disciplines\nExperience with Business Intelligence Visualization (e.g. Tableau, AWS QuickSight)\nExperience in presentation to stakeholders to articulate business values for analytical/data science projects\nExperience in the following Big Data technologies: PySpark, Kafka\nProgramming experience in one or preferably more of the following languages: Python, Scala\nExperience with Cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud)\nExposure to real-time streaming technologies (e.g. Spark Streaming, Apache Flink)\nGood understanding of software agile development, continues integration and deployment\nAttention to details, a self-starter and self-learner continuously keeping up to date with industry developments\nCreative problem solver and ability to think out of the box\nExperience in Telco industry will be an advantage","description_format":"text","description_chars":2937,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Broadband"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T18:15:36Z"}],"liveness":{"score":58,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.769,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":21,"expected_fill_days":30,"reasons":["conf:37","velocity","win:late","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/starhub-data-scientist","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/starhub-data-scientist.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T11:16:07Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2823,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2177,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
