Do you enjoy working with people and learning new skills?\nWe're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Adviser Apprentice to join our team and develop a successful career within one of the UK's leading builders' merchants.\nJewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Stark UK which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector predominately Housing Associations and Local Authorities.\nWe operate numerous supply solutions across the UK where certain contracts incorporate a dedicated distribution store and a solution to provide van stocks and a wide range of building maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery.\nOur JPS contracts are buoyant and busy outlets solely focused on our contract with the local council or housing association.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, earn while you learn, and achieve a nationally recognised qualification whilst working in a fast-paced trade environment.\nWorking hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm and Friday 7am - 4.30pm\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs a Sales Adviser Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues and learn all aspects of the branch operation, including:\nProviding excellent customer service to customers\nAssisting with product selection and enquiries\nDeveloping product knowledge across building materials and construction supplies\nProcessing sales orders and quotations and all aspects of administration\nSupporting stock management and merchandising activities\nBuilding positive relationships with our customer and suppliers\nLearning how to identify sales opportunities and maximise branch performance\nUnderstanding health and safety procedures within the branch\nWorking towards achieving your apprenticeship qualification\nWhat We're Looking For Someone Who\nHas a positive attitude and eagerness to learn\nEnjoys communicating with customers, colleagues and building relationships\nHas good organisational and teamwork skills\nIs confident using computers and learning new systems\nDemonstrates reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic\nHas qualifications i.e. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths or A Levels or is willing to work towards achieving them if required.\nThe role may also be of interest to a college leaver who is looking to gain experience in the workplace.\nNo previous experience is necessary.
