This role involves overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control, including incoming material inspection, process monitoring, final product inspection, and supporting supplier quality management. The Quality Engineer will drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, to optimize processes and reduce defects. Additionally, this position will ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations, including ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, and local requirements.\nCompensation\nThe expected pay range for this position is $75,000-$95,000per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.\nStark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.\nWork Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nFluent in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word.\nStrong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001.\nPrior experience in a regulated environment such as ISO 9001:2015.\nExperience with welding inspection and testing standards (ASME, AWS).\nProficiency in problem-solving and quality tools and techniques, such as root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving.\nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience working with an ERP system.\nCertification as a Certified Weld Inspector (CWI).\nKnowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3 pipe welding codes.\nExperience with complex, highly engineered products/systems.\nGeneral knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and motors.\nEmployment Eligibility\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.\nMust be able to pass pre-employment screenings.\nValid driver’s license.\nBenefits\nAdvance your career with Stark Tech, a leader in facilities and energy solutions.
