smooth flow of inbound material and outbound shipments to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and support production schedules.\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES -\nLogistics & 3PL Analysis\nEvaluate ocean and land transportation, warehousing, and distribution services to identify cost savings, improve service levels, and recommend optimal logistics solutions.\nAnalyze end-to-end supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.\nAnalyze distribution center performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency\nCollaborate with key stakeholders to implement best practices and streamline the movement of goods from overseas suppliers to warehouse facilities and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.\nEvaluate contracts with shipping carriers to optimize freight costs and maintain high service levels.\nOversee the inbound logistics process from receiving goods at warehouse facilities to inventory management.\nImplement and maintain inventory control measures to minimize errors and stockouts.\nCollaborate with distribution center managers to optimize order fulfillment and shipping processes\nMonitor transportation operations and logistics partner performance, resolve shipment exceptions, and recommend solutions to mitigate cost and service risks.\nAudit freight and logistics invoices against contracted rates and services, resolve billing discrepancies, and coordinate timely vendor payment.\nDevelop, maintain, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess logistics performance, identify trends, and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives\nLiase with Procurement to ensure material availability and coordinate merchandising display builds, delivery, within required timelines.\nSupport import and export activities, including shipment coordination, documentation, and customs compliance, and provide operational coverage across logistics functions as needed to maintain business continuity.\nData Analytics & Management\nAnalyze transportation, warehousing, and inventory data to identify cost savings, improve service levels, and support strategic supply chain decisions.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, forecast models, and performance reports using Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools.\nApply AI and machine learning techniques to forecast logistics trends, detect anomalies, and identify opportunities to optimize transportation and distribution operations.\nUse AI-enabled tools to automate data preparation, recurring reporting, and analytical workflows, validating outputs for accuracy and business relevance\nKNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES -\n5 years of overall experience in Supply Chain.\nBachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred (Supply Chain, Finance, Business).\nExceptional analytical skills with high proficiency in excel, BI & AI dashboard development.\nSAP experience is preferred.\nExperience with international logistics and working with custom brokers an advantage\nAbility to think strategically across the entire StarKist supply chain to develop solutions to complex problems.\nExcellent interpersonal skills to work productively in a highly cross-functional environment.\nLeadership and negotiation skills necessary to lead project teams and to support business interests with the customer.\nHighly resilient with results driven attitude.\nExcellent presentation skills. \nKnowledge of corporate policies and compliance.\nThe approximate pay range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000. This range is provided as a good faith estimate at the time of posting.
