JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Analyst supports the organization's compliance program through regulatory change management, grievances and complaints, OSHA and clinic compliance, licensing, audits, corrective actions, reporting, and driving process improvement.

This is a remote position requiring a detail-oriented and organized professional who can manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and independently manage assigned projects and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage assigned compliance projects and initiatives from planning through completion by establishing timelines, coordinating deliverables, and monitoring progress.
• Monitor regulatory developments, research and interpret applicable regulations and guidance, assess potential operational risks and mitigation opportunities to support compliance and regulatory change management activities.
• Research, analyze, and interpret regulations, guidance, policies, and operational practices to identify compliance gaps, and recommendations.
• Investigate and support the resolution of grievances, complaints, regulatory inquiries, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Lead and support on-site compliance reviews, audits, and assessments, including OSHA and operational compliance activities, as needed.
• Support licensing, regulatory, and corrective action activities, including submissions, inspections, and remediation efforts.
• Analyze compliance data and maintain reporting, documentation, and tracking systems to support regulatory requirements, audit readiness, and informed decision-making.
• Identify and implement process and workflow improvements through the development and enhancement of procedures, tools, and technology solutions.
• Support the development, implementation, and communication of compliance policies, procedures, training materials, and educational resources.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships of trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders regarding assigned compliance matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, grievances and appeals, auditing, quality, risk management, or healthcare operations required.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, state privacy laws, OSHA workplace safety standards, and healthcare licensing requirements preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND/OR TRAINING

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, legal studies, public health, project management, or a related field preferred. Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC), healthcare privacy (CHPC), or a similar credential preferred.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, healthcare operations, grievance and appeals, quality, auditing, risk management, project management, or a related field required. A comparable combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid environment preferred.

PHYSICAL WORKING REQUIREMENTS

The position primarily involves prolonged periods of sitting, extensive computer use, and frequent phone and virtual communication. As a remote position, the Compliance Analyst must be able to effectively perform duties using technology and virtual collaboration tools while maintaining a professional remote work environment.

Occasional travel may be required for clinic visits, audits, investigations, training, meetings, regulatory activities, or other business-related needs.
