Grow your career with a rapidly growing company that invests in its people and their ability to drive real progress.\nRole Purpose\n We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Treasury Manager to lead and oversee treasury activities across the Group, ensuring the effective management of liquidity, cash flow, banking relationships, and funding requirements. The role is responsible for maintaining a robust treasury control framework that supports the organisation's financial objectives while safeguarding capital and optimising the use of financial resources.\nThe Treasury Manager will also ensure compliance with internal risk appetite, liquidity monitoring requirements, and all relevant regulatory obligations. Working closely with Finance, Risk, and senior stakeholders, the role will provide oversight of liquidity risk management, investment activities, and treasury reporting, ensuring the Group maintains appropriate financial resilience and governance standards.\n Key Responsibilities\nManage Treasury in a timely and efficient manner ensuring efficient use of cash and adhering to all internal and external policies for liquidity buffers, fx exposures. \nPrepare and monitor cash-flows and daily cash positions across all entities to aid management decisions regarding short- and long-term cash flow management.\nEnsure compliance with all regulations (Lloyd’s, PRA, BMA requirements for liquidity management)\nSupport the three FP&A teams in the planning and forecasting process and analysis of investment results ensuring alignment with the Senior Investment and Treasury Manager and reconciling to known cash flows over the year.\nManage the production of quarterly papers relating to cash and Treasury to the Investment Committees and the Boards.\nReconcile liquidity forecasts and budgets against actuals to explain variances.\nManage the timely review and update of all Treasury policies and procedures. Ensure a robust controls framework is in place, with treasury risks identified, appropriate controls in place, with regular monitoring and attestations.\nImprove processes and controls.\nContribute to the ongoing development initiatives.\nThe above duties and responsibilities are not an exhaustive list, and you may be required to undertake other reasonable duties compatible with your experience and competencies. This description may be varied from time to time to reflect changing business requirements.\nQualifications, skills and experience\nClear and well-structured written and verbal communication skills.\nBuild and maintain good internal and external relationships including the investment team and relevant banks and fund managers. \nExpertise in front office treasury functions, encompassing the daily oversight of group cash management and forecasting.\nProficient in International and UK banking regulations and practices\nPrior experience in the insurance sector would be advantageous.\nStrong organisational and management skills, proactive and driven approach to duties and accountabilities.\nKnowledge of Lloyd's trust fund regulations.\nAdvanced IT skills including knowledge of MS Office and relevant accounting/investment packages.\nExcellent grasp of risk management as it applies to treasury.\nExperience using Clearwater beneficial.\nPeople-focused, with proven ability to collaborate across teams, and manage performance to business objectives.\nStarr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
