The Employee will help our organization to identify and bridge the gap that exists in the business by analyzing the data, scale and support digital transformation initiatives.\n We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IBM MDM & Integration Developer to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise Master Data Management applications, including Master Person Index (MPI), Michigan Index Data Stewardship Portal (MIDSP), and Symmetry applications.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM Standard Edition (Virtual MDM) v14.x, Java/J2EE, Apache Kafka, and enterprise application integration.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain, support, and enhance IBM MDM applications and integrations.\nDevelop high-level functional and technical requirement documents.\nWork with Linux/Unix environments and develop PowerShell and Bash scripts.\nManage source code repositories using Git and GitHub.\nCollaborate with DBAs to develop and execute SQL scripts.\nPrepare monthly reports for MDM applications.\nSupport client tickets, incidents, and production issues.\nCreate and deploy certificates across Windows and Linux systems.\nCoordinate with infrastructure, server, and network teams.\nParticipate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nDevelop prototypes, mockups, flowcharts, and screen layouts.\nDesign and execute test plans, test cases, UAT, and post-implementation testing.\nTrack defects, incidents, and change requests (RFCs).\nMaintain application documentation and support production and non-production environments.\nSupport enterprise architecture assessments, hosting documents, and firewall requirements.\n 8+ years of enterprise software development experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM).\nExperience with MDM data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.\nHands-on experience with Apache Kafka.\nPreferred / Desired Skills\n8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience, including Java, JSP, REST, and SOAP services.\n5+ years of Linux/Unix experience, including command-line operations, log analysis, and troubleshooting.\nApache Kafka experience, including topic configuration, producers, consumers, message flow troubleshooting, Zookeeper, and Kafka KRaft concepts.\nExperience with Strimzi Operator.\nExperience with batch processing using WildFly and Kafka.\nExperience deploying and supporting applications on WildFly.\nStrong SQL skills with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.\nLinux shell scripting (Bash) and CRON job scheduling.\nExperience with Flowable is a plus.\nCI/CD experience using Azure DevOps, Azure Git Repos, or similar tools.\nExperience with cloud and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments.\nFamiliarity with AWS and/or Azure.\nExposure to Kubernetes and OpenShift.\nExperience with ELK / Elastic Stack for application log monitoring and troubleshooting.\nHealthcare domain experience is preferred.\nAbility to independently support and maintain complex, mission-critical enterprise applications.\n Candidates must be available to work onsite every Monday and Tuesday in Lansing, Michigan, starting from Day One.
