You'll lead a small team of Co-ordinators, working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure our services are safe, person-centred, CQC compliant and consistently striving for Outstanding.\nIf you're a confident leader who is equally comfortable with people and planning, and who wants their work to directly shape the quality of support for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, we'd love to hear from you.\nThe Role - What You'll Be Doing\nAs Lead Coordinator, you'll oversee the effective coordination of care and support across LIFE services, managing rotas, leading a team of Co-ordinators and ensuring that every person we support has the right support in place at the right time.\nYou'll work alongside the Operations Manager and Quality Lead to drive quality, compliance and continuous improvement, and you'll pay a key role in the day-to-day running and growth of the service.\nManaging Care Provision\nOversee the coordination of Support Worker rotas for the smooth running of the service\nManage the production of rotas across the coordination team, ensuring all care plans are met and staff receive rotas in a timely and agreed way\nOversee the implementation of changes to care plans where appropriate\nManage annual leave and workforce capacity to ensure the needs of the people we support are always met\nOversee accurate use of our care management system, ensuring data input is correct and up to date\nRespond promptly to alerts and ensure ECM and RoadRunner are managed effectively\nLeadership & Management\nProvide line management, support and development to the Co-ordination team\nLead Be Supported, Be Involved and Be Proud meetings with the coordination team, ensuring actions are followed through and recorded\nSupport staff learning, development and compliance - ensuring the care workforce is up to date with mandatory and refresher training\nAssist with recrtuitment planning and support the onboarding of new colleagues\nCarry out on-call duties on a rota basis, including overnight and weekend cover (additional pay applies)\nQuality, Compliance & Administration\nWork closely with the Operations Manager and Quality Lead to ensure CQC compliance and support the service in striving towards Outstanding\nPrepare reports and monitor statistics as required by the Operations Manager and Commissioners\nEnsure accuracy on our care system to support invoicing and strengthen financial management\nWork with commissioning partners to ensure we are responsive to new and existing care packages\nUphold Be Caring's policies, procedures and regulatory requirements at all times\nAbout You\nWe're looking for someone who combines strong operational and organisational skills with genuine people leadership - someone who can hold the bigger picture while staying responsive to what's happening on the ground.\nYou will have:\nExperience in a coordination or scheduling role, ideally within health, social care or a similarly complex service\nExperience of managing or supporting a team\nProven ability to prioritise work, stay focused under pressure and manage competing demands\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with colleagues, families and external professionals\nA values-driven, person-centred approach\nA full driving licence and access to a vehicle\nExperience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and Autism (desirable)\nDevelopment & Progression\nWe are committed to the personal and professional development of everyone who joins LIFE by Be Caring.
