In addition to new code, this often includes refactoring and deprecation work.\n\nWrite clean, secure, and well-tested code to solve business problems.\n\nBuild tools and integrate systems to scale the effectiveness of products across the business.\n\nCollaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across the organization to achieve the team’s goals.\n\nContinuously work to improve while being empathetic and considerate with others.\n\nAct as a full life cycle Software Engineer, meaning be able to do code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and release.\n\nRequirements:\n5+ years of professional full-stack development experience (TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js)\n\nExperience designing and consuming REST APIs, including error handling, and caching\n\nExperience with NoSQL and relational databases (MongoDB, MariaDB)\n\nBasic cloud/infrastructure experience (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Heroku)\n\nProficiency in writing unit and integration tests, habit of testing own work without being asked\n\nFamiliarity with observability, logging, metrics and debugging tools\n\nConfident with Git workflows, branching, CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions)\n\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor)\n\nAbility to work independently on medium-sized features from ticket to release\n\nTeam player, strong
