People & Culture Intern

About Job

We are looking for an ambitious People & Culture Intern to join our team! This internship offers hands-on experience across HR operations, office management, and employee engagement, while providing exposure to how HR functions in a scale-up environment. You will support our regional P&C team across 5 regions (with a heavy focus on Malaysia and Singapore), giving you a broad international exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

• Assist with candidate sourcing to support talent acquisition efforts as required.

• Manage essential hiring administration, including preparing offer letters and related documentation.

Onboarding

• Manage onboarding administration, including document preparations and updating employee records.

• Schedule and coordinate new hire orientations.

General HR & Operations

• Assist with HR data management, and documentation.

• Help coordinate office operations including supplies, vendors, and facilities.

• Organize and run small-scale engagement activities such as weekly socials or employee events.

• Provide ad hoc support to the People & Culture team on projects as required.

Accountabilities of the Role

• Ensure timely and accurate administrative support for onboarding/offboarding and HR documentation.

• Maintain well-organized employee records and data files.

• Support smooth day-to-day functioning of the Malaysia office.

• Contribute positively to office culture and engagement activities.

Projects you might work on

• Employee Onboarding Automation - you will work alongside the People & Culture team members to enhance the onboarding experience for our new employees in StashAway.

• AI/Tech in HR Exploration - we are constantly looking for ways to improve our workflows and introduce new automations and technologies.

• Culture & Workplace Initiatives: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of major employee engagement events, including company off-sites and other workplace projects.
