This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located at 2020 Yonkers Road, Raleigh, NC 27699-- (Wake County), with the Department of Adult Correction (DAC).
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.57 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants.
Job duties include, but may not be limited to:
- Screening unit jackets that have been received from the facilities to ensure they are purged correctly so these files can be scanned into EDMS.
- Scanning documents into OmniDocs using the OmniScan program.
- Backing up reception area as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
