This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in Rocky Mount, NC - Nash County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $34.35 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 141 Storage Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

Thispositionasclinicalsocialworkerisneededforchildren,birthtothree,andislocatedinthecatchmentareaofthe RockyMountChildren'sDevelopmentalServicesAgency(CDSA).Thispositionwillprovideeligibilityevaluationsfor childrenreferredtotheNCInfant-ToddlerProgram.

Management prefers applicants with the following:

• Considerableknowledgeofawiderangeofbehaviorandpsychosocialproblemsandtheirdiagnosisand treatment.

• Considerableknowledgeoffamilyandgroupdynamicsandarangeofinterventiontechniques,aswellas principles of casework and training.

• Considerable knowledge of treatment planning

• Considerableknowledgeofgovernmentalandprivateorganizations,resourcesinthecommunity,laws, regulations,andpolicieswhichgoverntheprogram.

• Thoroughknowledgeofsocialworkprinciples,techniques,andpractices,andtheirapplicationtocomplex casework,groupwork,andcommunityproblems

Minimum Education and Experience

Master’s degree from an appropriately accredited school of social work. Licensure is required from NC SW Certification and Licensure Board. Necessary Special Qualification Requirements - One must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
