We have a mission that matters!\nDescription of Work\nReporting to a Correctional Programs Supervisor, this position functions in the Programs section at Warren Correctional Institution in Manson NC, which houses approximately 850 multi-level custody male offenders. This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:1. Carrying a caseload of offenders, which involves supportive counseling, answering and following up on offenders’ questions and problems, and making recommendations to the classification committee.\n2. Assisting in major dynamic programs or coordinate major or specialized programs for the rehabilitation of offenders, such as offender work assignments, work release, education, or recreation; as well as transition planning and coordinating.\n3. Maintaining records and a recall system.\n4.
