If you are a current State of Oregon employee, you must apply through youremployee Workday profile.\nA day in the life:\nDevelop, implement, evaluate and refine strategic plans, deficiency lists, and resource management strategies in partnership with the business operations manager and ODOT Facilities to ensure effective management of owned and leased buildings, grounds and related assets.\nTrack and monitor facility expenditures and make recommendations to support future budget planning.\nCoordinate with staff and contractors to ensure timely resolution of building related issues, including general operations, building security, access badges and systems such as HVAC and plumbing.\nServe as the contract administrator for facility-related agreements, overseeing contracts for mail services, janitorial work, vending services and building leases.\nProvide project management oversight with ODOT Facilities for building relocations, workstation design and upgrades or issues involving electrical systems, lighting and ergonomics.\nDevelop and maintain the Mill Creek facilities manual, coordinating annual updates to ensure current and accurate guidance is available.\nActively participate in safety and emergency response committees and serve as the Mill Creek site emergency coordinator.\nResearch, analyze and prepare reports for branch management by evaluating data, and providing recommendations.\nGather input from managers to help coordinate and prioritize improvements to building systems.\nDevelop and maintain internal and external SharePoint sites for the Mill Creek building and Materials Lab.\nOversee and coordinate all communications related to Mill Creek facilities, including building issues, safety matters and emergency management.\nWork on-site in an office environment with occasional in-state travel required.\nMay be required to lift or move up to 40 pounds.\nTo request a copy of the position description, which includes all duties and working conditions, please .\nWhat’s in it for you:\nWork/life balance, 11 paid holidays a year, flexible work schedules, paid leave and so much more.
