The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in testing concepts, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to work closely with development and product teams in an agile environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications\nExecute automated and manual test cases and analyze test results\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios\nCreate and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data\nIdentify, log, and track defects using defect management tools (JIRA or similar)\nPerform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of release cycles\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives\nEnsure test coverage and quality metrics are met before releases\nContinuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and testing processes\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on test automation\nStrong understanding of software testing fundamentals (STLC, SDLC, test design techniques)\nExperience working with test frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber and Gauge etc.\nHands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as:Selenium / Playwright / Cypress\n\nProficiency in at least one programming language:Java / Python / JavaScript\n\nExperience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools)\nKnowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments\nFamiliarity with version control systems like Git\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
