The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and managing large-scale AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, CI/CD platforms, and containerization technologies. You should be passionate about automation, scalability, and operational excellence.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nAs an AWS Platform Engineer, you will:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure following industry and company best practices\nDevelop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for multi-account AWS environments\nBuild and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness for automated deployments\nWork independently and collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and operations teams\nDevelop and implement IaC solutions forcontainer orchestration solutions using ECS and EKS\nLambda and related AWS services\nEFS, EBS, and S3 with proper lifecycle policies\n\nImplement robust IAM policies, security controls, and compliance standards\nDesign and configure VPC networking, subnets, routing, and security groups\nManage efforts within agile teams to ensure timely delivery of platform initiatives\nIdentify and proactively address infrastructure risks and performance bottlenecks\nProvide technical expertise in estimating and planning infrastructure projects\nMaintain accountability for the overall delivery and operational excellence of the platform\nWhat we value\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role with MUST and NICE to have skills\n10+ years overall experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering\n6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services at scale\n4+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design\n4+ years of experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code\n4+ years of experience with Harness or similar CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI)\nStrong expertise in AWS core services:Compute: EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda\nStorage: S3, EFS, EBS\nNetworking: VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT Gateways, Transit Gateway, Load Balancers\nSecurity: IAM, Security Groups, KMS, Secrets Manager\n\nDeep understanding of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)\nExtensive knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployments, and operations\nExperience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment strategies\nExperience with monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)\nSolid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, CDN)\nStrategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to mentor and guide team members\nExperience with AWS cost optimization strategies and FinOps practices\nNice-to-Have Skills\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) or AWS DevOps Engineer certification\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)\nExperience with additional AWS services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redshift)\nKnowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and Chaos Engineering\nPrior experience in financial services or highly regulated industries\nExperience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures\nProficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)\nPrior working knowledge of Jira and Confluence\nSolid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications\nMinimum Bachelor’s Degree required\nAdditional requirements\nNo Hybrid Working.
