This role may also focus on specific duties pertaining to more complex issues and projects within a given team such as, corporate initiatives or market specific requirements.\nResponsibilities:\nAs a senior member of an operations team, candidate will provide support and control for various financial markets.\n\nProvide training to team members.\n\nAssist in coordinating/demonstrating requested material/process for internal/external audits.\n\nAssist Managers by prioritizing the workload and ensure daily tasks are completed.\n\nProvide support related to time critical settlement activity.\n\nAs needed, perform functions of other team members.\n\nAs needed, process and/or resolve complex operational issues.\n\nPromote and ensures all direct client service relationships inquiries are acted upon and completed in a timely manner.\n\nAssist and co-ordinate procedural changes to the current process.\n\nAssist in collecting and analyzing data related to key process and quality metrics.\n\nAssist by providing coverage in the absence of Staff Members or Manager.\n\nAssist the Manager by prioritizing the daily workload of the team to accommodate time critical or high risk events.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes within the unit\n\nShares own experience/knowledge with others; provides guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.\n\nCompletes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance.\n\nApplies knowledge/skills to a range of activities; acts as a source of technical expertise to others in own area; handles a variety of tasks at once.\n\nMinimum Job Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required.\n\nAt the minimum 4-6 years experience in the financial industry preferably with exposure to asset/cash servicing.\n\nProven attention to detail.\n\nExcellent ability to multi-task.\n\nExcellent ability to analyze complex documents and understand financial markets.\n\nProven ability to accurately process time sensitive transactions containing significant principal risk.\n\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment.\n\nMust have excellent prioritization skills and sound independent judgme\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
