From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGD’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.\nJoin us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nThe CMS Manager Officeris responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality custody services to assigned institutional clients, acting as a key coordination point between clients, investment managers, operations, and support functions. The role combines client service, operational oversight, issue resolution, risk management, and service governance responsibilities to ensure the consistent delivery of custody services in accordance with State Street's control framework and client service standards.\nThe successful candidate will develop strong client relationships, monitor operational performance, identify and escalate risks, and drive timely resolution of service issues while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Service and Relationship Management\nAct as a primary contact for designated custody clients and investment managers.\nManage day-to-day client service inquiries and operational escalations.\nCoordinate responses across operations, asset servicing, settlements, cash processing, onboarding, fund accounting, and other support teams.\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and service delivery teams.\nSupport the preparation and delivery of client service reviews and governance meetings.\nGovernance and Reporting\nPrepare management information, service dashboards, and client reporting packs.\nSupport internal governance forums and client service governance meetings.\nMaintain accurate records of service issues, action items, and client commitments.\nContribute to KPI, KRI, and service performance reporting.\nAssist with regulatory, audit, and compliance activities relating to custody servicing.\nNew Business and Change Management\nSupport onboarding of new funds, clients, and investment managers.\nParticipate in operational readiness activities for new products, markets, and regulatory initiatives.\nAssist with testing, implementation, and communication activities associated with system and process enhancements.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, client experience, and risk management.\nParticipate in process reviews and improvement initiatives.\nSupport automation and simplification of manual processes where appropriate.\nContribute to the enhancement of CMS procedures, controls, and best practices.\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications\nUniversity Degree or equivalent experience\nMinimum 3 years of relevant experience\nPrevious years of experience in the Banking and Investment Fund business\nStrong understanding of operational processes across all aspects of Global Custody\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
