The role serves as a key liaison between Regulatory Reporting teams, Technology, Data Management, and Business stakeholders to ensure new regulatory requirements, reporting enhancements, data sourcing changes, and process improvements are implemented accurately and efficiently.\nKey Responsibilities\nRegulatory Change Analysis\nAnalyze new and amended regulatory/ statutory reporting requirements and assess business, data, and system impacts.\nInterpret regulatory instructions and translate them into business and functional requirements.\nPartner with Regulatory Reporting SMEs to document reporting obligations and reporting logic.\nAssess impacts of new products, acquisitions, regulatory changes, and remediation initiatives on existing reports.\nBusiness & Data Analysis\nPerform detailed data analysis and data lineage assessments across source systems and reporting platforms.\nIdentify strategic and non-strategic data sourcing requirements.\nDefine data quality rules, reconciliation requirements, variance thresholds, and exception reporting criteria.\nAnalyze MDRM, reporting attributes, calculations, and reporting hierarchies where applicable.\nRequirements Management\nPrepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.\nFacilitate requirements workshops with business, regulatory, operations, and technology teams.\nTranslate regulatory requirements into detailed Jira stories and acceptance criteria.\nSupport backlog refinement and prioritization activities.\nQualifications:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.\nExperience\n5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, finance transformation, business analysis, or data management.\nExperience supporting regulatory reporting change initiatives within banking or financial services would be preferred\nExperience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.\nExperience in Axiom/ A360 or Workiva would be preferred.\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
