This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) ETL capabilities that enable trusted, high-quality data across business and technology functions.\nThe successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), including data integration, data quality, reference data management, and operational support. In collaboration with data engineers, architects, governance teams, and business stakeholders, this individual will help design, develop, test, modernize, and support scalable master data solutions across the enterprise data ecosystem.\nWhy This Role Is Important\nData platforms are central to State Street Investment Management’s ability to serve clients, meet regulatory obligations, and run daily investment operations. The Senior Associate role in this space ensures these platforms remain stable, trusted, and continuously improving, while protecting the firm from unnecessary operational and regulatory risk.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain data integrations using Informatica IDMC ETL.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement lasting remediation solutions.\nSupport application enhancements, platform upgrades, releases, and business-as-usual (BAU) operations.\nPartner with business users, data governance teams, and application owners to define data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support procedures.\nContribute to code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support.\nMonitor platform performance and identify opportunities to improve automation, optimization, and operational efficiency.\nLearn and contribute to cloud migration and data modernization initiatives aligned with the organization's future-state data strategy.\nRequired Qualifications\n 4-7 years of hands-on experience in data management, data integration, master data management, or a related technical role.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\nHands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) is required.\nHands-on Experience supporting Informatica-based ETL/ELT and data integration platforms is required.\nExperience in the following areas:Match and merge configuration\nData Quality Management\nManagement of data hierarchies\nData Stewardship\nReference data Management\nBatch processing and data integration workflows\n\nStrong SQL and database expertise, with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or comparable platforms.\nProven ability to troubleshoot and support enterprise production environments.\nSolid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.\nExperience working in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments.\nExposure to AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, or other cloud platforms.\nExperience with automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.\nFamiliarity with Python and modern data lake and enterprise data platform architectures.\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
