As a digital innovation leader, we invest into our solutions, processes, systems, and talent.\nWe are actively hiring engineers for our Private Market’s division as this is an exciting time to join our innovative engineering teams as we are investing in growing out our European presence and leadership to help drive our next phase of growth.\nSummary:\nAct as Full Stack engineer responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of the CRPM modules and components, as part of an agile scrum team, and at times provide troubleshooting assistance to customer support teams.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements and solutions critical to system operation\nCollaborate with engineering team to create simple and sustainable software solutions for complex problems\nDirect problem solving for projects or major phases of projects to resolve software technical issues\nProvide informed guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during code reviews\nWrite unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality product\nEngage in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the CRD scrum methodology, including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives\nQualifications:\nRecommended Education:\nB.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study required. MS degree strongly preferred.\nKey skills and prior experience:\nExperience of 1-3 years developing event driven architectures, financial services a plus\nKnowledge in cloud native development using Java, Spring, Angular or React\nKnowledge with relational databases (RDBMS)\nDemonstrated problem solving abilities.\nDemonstrated ability to design and develop software solutions to business and technical problems\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills\nAble to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment\nKnowledge of Agile development methodology\nAbout State Street\nWhat we do.
