The role involves interaction with various units locally and overseas. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGD’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.\nJoin us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.\nWhat you will be responsible for:\nAs Regulatory and Tax Services Associate 2, you will:\nProduce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tax and regulatory reports (e.g.taxable/distributable income calculations, financial statements etc)\nEnsure that allocated client reporting is completed and submitted for review on a timely basis\nMaintain records on systems\nAnswer and handle issues and queries and escalate as needed; acting with a sense of urgency to meet required deliverables\nLiaising with internal clients to obtain information where required\nAct in accordance with the 'risk' escalation chain and operating procedures\nIndependently follow process documentation such as process flows, Standard Operating procedures (SOPs)\nWhat we value:\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role:\nStrong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications:\nBachelor degree or above\nExperience in a Taxation & Regulatory services or financial services environment an advantage\nUnderstanding of managed investment funds\nGood understanding of financial services and investment products\nDetailed oriented individual capable of performing in a high pace environment\nDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and possess strong problem solving and resolution skills\nIntermediate knowledge of Internal Systems, MS office (excel, word)\nStrong attention to detail and a focus on service\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and industry deadlines\nAdditional requirements:\nOvertime may be required\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
