GHR Power Apps / Power Automate / SharePoint Developer

Role Overview:

The GHR Power Apps / Power Automate / SharePoint Developer (Officer) is a hands-on builder responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting business solutions that improve employee experience and streamline HR processes globally. This role focuses on building low-code applications and workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), SharePoint Online, SPFx, Qualtrics 360, and Microsoft 365 technologies. The successful candidate will support a portfolio of business-critical HR applications while partnering with global stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade Power Platform and SharePoint solutions, supporting production applications, and translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement, operational support experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly regulated environment requiring governance, security, documentation, and support readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Delivery (Power Apps + Power Automate + SharePoint)

• Design, build, and enhance Power Apps solutions to support HR and employee-facing business processes.
• Design and implement Power Automate workflows including approvals, notifications, routing, document management, and process automation.
• Build and maintain SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, forms, and permission structures.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Support the full solution lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

SharePoint & SPFx Development

• Develop and support SharePoint Online solutions and customizations.
• Support and enhance existing SPFx-based applications and websites.
• Develop functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
• Manage SharePoint permissions, security groups, and governance controls.

Qualtrics 360 Survey Administration

• Configure and administer Qualtrics 360 surveys and associated participant processes.
• Support survey launches, nominations, reminders, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Generate survey reports and support completion tracking activities.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Apply governance standards across applications, environments, and data sources.
• Support role-based access controls, SharePoint permissions, and information security requirements.
• Ensure solutions meet internal standards for documentation, audit readiness, change control, and operational support.

Application Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide production support for business-critical HR applications and workflows.
• Investigate and resolve application, workflow, and integration issues.
• Implement enhancements and continuous improvements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and solution inventories.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements.
• Support stakeholders across Talent Development, Global Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Global Employee Onboarding, Workforce Planning, Payroll, and Shared Services functions.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to support a diverse portfolio of HR technology solutions.

Experience and Competencies

• 6-8 years of experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• • Power Apps (Canvas; Model-driven experience is a plus)
  • Power Automate (complex workflows, approvals, notifications, error handling, and supportability)
  • SharePoint Online (information architecture, lists, libraries, permissions, modern pages, and sites)
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications throughout the full lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a regulated environment with strong governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of application governance concepts, including permissions, role-based access, environment strategy, and operational controls.
• Experience integrating solutions using standard Microsoft 365 connectors and APIs; knowledge of custom connectors is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex application and workflow issues.
• Experience working directly with global business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver technology solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions independently within a small, fast-paced team environment.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with SPFx development using React and TypeScript.
• Experience administering Qualtrics 360 surveys or similar feedback platforms.
• Experience with Dataverse data modeling, security roles, and environment configuration.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, REST APIs, and automation scripting.
• Experience supporting HR technology solutions and employee-facing applications.
• Exposure to UI/UX design principles and modern web technologies.
• Experience supporting access governance, recertification, or compliance-related processes.
• Familiarity with Power Platform ALM, deployment practices, and environment management.
