This role requires a collaborative mindset, a passion for innovation, and the ability to inspire others.\nWhat You Will Do:\nIn this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:\nCollaborate closely with Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA and other development team members\nImplementation, deployment and maintenance of cloud-based system and AI related projects based on requirements, ensuring code quality and performance optimization\nGuarantee code quality by enough unit testing, bug fixing and performance tuning\n Pair-work with QA to refine requirements, deliver demo to business\nWork with DM and team to implement Left-Shift testing, TDD (Test Driven Development) or BDD (Behavior Driven Development)\nLearn and implement best practices in coding and design, and keep up on the latest developments with Java, database and JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS\nUse AI development tools like Github Copilot to improve development efficiency, write MCP services based on business and development requirement\nIn this role, you will have:\nEngagement in meaningful daily work: You'll take ownership of specific tasks and projects, gaining hands-on experience and building confidence through real contributions. \nA supportive learning environment: You'll exercise your judgment in a guided setting, with mentorship and supervision to help you grow. \nFocused skill development: This role is designed to help you deepen your expertise in a specific area. \nClear structure and expectations: You'll work within well-defined parameters, giving you the clarity and focus to succeed. \nIndependent contributions: You'll have the opportunity to make an impact through your individual contributions while collaborating with a supportive team. \nFocus on growth: While there are no people management responsibilities with this role, it is a great stepping stone for future leadership opportunities. \nA collaborative team culture: You'll build strong working relationships with your peers and supervisor, gaining valuable experience in a professional environment. \nEducation and Preferred Qualifications:\nCandidates should be:\nFinal-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation\nEnthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization\nEffective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment\nOpen to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement\nMotivated by real-world problem solving and eager to contribute innovative ideas\nAdditional requirements:\nThis is an intern program only for 2027 graduates, we do not guarantee to convert to Full Time Employee, interns with excellent performance will be provided priority to be converted to regular employee if FTE headcount available after graduation.\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
