The Global Treasury Audit, Senior Associate will provide independent, objective assurance over the design and operating effectiveness of controls supporting Global Treasury activities, including governance, risk management, policies, management reporting and board reporting. Across the globe, the firm, relies on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability; regulators rely upon us to provide assurance that the bank operates in a manner that is compliant with key banking regulations to properly manage risks to the company and the global financial systems.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nAs Global Treasury Audit, Senior Associate you will\nExecute risk-based audit work in accordance with Corporate Audit methodology and applicable Institute of Internal Auditors standards. \nIdentify key risks and control objectives; assess whether controls are appropriately designed to address those risks. \nPlan and perform controls testing, including walkthroughs, sample selection, inspection of evidence, reperformance and evaluation of operating effectiveness. \nDocument audit procedures, evidence, results and conclusions in clear, complete and regulator-ready workpapers that support the audit opinion. \nApply professional skepticism to assess the quality, completeness and reliability of evidence, and challenge unsupported or inconsistent explanations. \nBuild constructive relationships across the lines of defense while maintaining audit independence and objectivity. \nMaintain current knowledge of Global Treasury risks, regulatory expectations and industry practices, particularly in liquidity risk, asset-liability management and interest rate risk. \nWhat we value\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role:\nDemonstrated proficiency in evaluating business processes, identifying inherent and residual risk, and testing associated internal controls. \nStrong written documentation skills, including the ability to link risks, controls, testing procedures, evidence and conclusions. \nAbility to independently manage multiple priorities, meet commitments and escalate obstacles early in a fast-paced environment. \nSound judgment, analytical thinking, attention to detail and a disciplined approach to evidence retention and audit methodology. \nClear, factual and concise written and verbal communication, including communication with senior management and regulators. \nAbility to research, interpret and apply regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations relevant to Global Treasury. \nCollaborative approach and ability to provide clear direction and review feedback to audit team members. \nEducation & Preferred Qualifications\nThe following are required:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field. \nDirect, hands-on experience executing controls testing, including design assessment, operating effectiveness testing, evidence evaluation and workpaper documentation. \nAdvanced degree or certification, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or its equivalent preferred.\nSalary Range:\n$52,000 - $87,880 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
