India Head of CX Platforms & Development, State Street Investment Management, Managing Director
State Street Investment Management (“State Street IM,” formerly known as State Street Global Advisors or SSGA) is seeking a CX Platform - India Head of Platforms and Development, Managing Director.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished technology leader with deep experience in managing development resources, platform modernization, digital transformation, AI-enabled automation, and platforms supporting Client Coverage Group(CCG).
This role will lead State Street IM's Client Experience technology organization in India and provide strategic leadership across Emerging Technology & Transformation, Client Reporting Transformation and other platforms supporting Client Coverage Group(CCG).
The successful candidate will drive delivery excellence, platform modernization, automation, and AI adoption while building high-performing teams and fostering strong partnerships with business stakeholders and global technology leaders. This role requires a seasoned technical leader who can balance strategic vision with disciplined execution, manage complex technology portfolios, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
This position will play a key leadership role in advancing the Client Experience technology strategy and supporting the broader transformation agenda across State Street Investment Management.
This role will report directly to State Street IM's Global Head of Client Experience Platform within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
As CX Platform - India Head of Platforms and Development, Managing Director, you will:
Lead and manage Client Experience technology teams in India across Emerging Technology & Transformation, Client Reporting and other platforms supporting Client Coverage Group(CCG).
Drive adoption of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to improve productivity, enhance client experience, and accelerate transformation initiatives.
Drive Client engagement platform development and modernization efforts in partnership with CCG team and other business stakeholders.
Lead AI-enabled automation initiatives that reduce manual custom reporting processes, improve operational efficiency, and create scalable solutions for business and operations teams.
Establish and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives, client experience priorities, and global technology strategy.
Drive development, delivery, and production support for Client Experience applications, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and reliability.
Partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and global technology leaders to deliver strategic outcomes.
Build, coach, and develop high-performing engineering and delivery teams while creating strong succession and talent development plans.
Promote engineering excellence through modern development practices, automation, platform standardization, and continuous improvement.
Ensure technology solutions meet security, risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Manage delivery risks, priorities, budgets, resource plans, and vendor relationships to ensure successful execution of strategic and business-as-usual initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
15+ years of technology leadership experience, including management of large engineering organizations.
Experience within asset management, financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries preferred.
Demonstrated experience leading global technology teams and large-scale transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, DevSecOps, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices.
