The candidate must have 6+ years of experience in developing web applications in Java, JavaScript frameworks, Spring MVC and Microservices on native and open cloud platforms using CI/CD. The successful candidate must be effective at managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities and be capable of meeting deadlines. The role expects senior developers with strong experience in business and software development, data analysis, system flows and design patterns in order to strategically develop the various products for Integration Services team.\nAs Senior Developer (SA), you will be responsible for:\nAnalysis, Design and development of solutions for integration services. Candidate should deliver development tasks based on coding best practices and considering non-functional aspects.\nParticipate in all major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.\nManage your efforts within and outside the agile team and ensure tasks are completed successfully within deadlines with agreed quality standards.\nUnderstand user needs and propose optimized options for solutions. Anticipate critical issues and risks; take responsibility for resolution across the organization.\nApply analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.\nUsing and integrating processes through various transmission protocols using BPM based tools.\nDeveloping solutions on file transport, messaging and API integration protocols using proprietary and industry standard formats.\nSystem Integration using integration software's - bespoke, vendor and/or open source.\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role with MUST and NICE to have skills:\nThe candidate needs to demonstrate a strong level of competence in Results Focus, Business Acumen and Curiosity and Technology Level Influence/Teamwork\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications:\nMinimum bachelor’s degree required.\nMinimum 6+ years of experience in developing Enterprise Web applications in Java, Spring Boot or Python.\nMust have experience in Angular and/or React.JS & Node.js.\nMust have experience on one or more protocols REST, SOAP, GraphQL, GRPC, Avro, WebSocket.\nMust have hands-on experience in Relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Etc.) and/or NOSQL DB’s.\nMust have hands-on experience in Unit Testing framework such as JUnit or Pytest.\nMust have hands-on experience in at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift etc.\nMust have work experience on Build frameworks (Maven or Gradle) or (Poetry, PDM or PIPenv)\nMust have work experience in Agile Teams with a clear understanding of the Agile model.\nNice to have experience in Dockers, Kubernetes, DevOps/CI/CD.\nNice to have experience working with any of the messaging platforms like IBM MQ, ActiveMQ or Rabbit MQ or Kafka.\nNice to have experience in File Transfer protocol like SFTP, FTP, Samba and MFT.\nNice to have working knowledge on Co-pilot, Devin or any other AI code-assistant tool.\nWhy is this role important to us:\nOur technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
