Reconciliation & Break Management\nPerform daily cash, position, and transaction reconciliations across multiple asset classes\n\nInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks within defined SLAs\n\nIdentify root causes and drive permanent resolution of recurring discrepancies\n\nLiaise with custodians, fund administrators, and internal teams to resolve issues\n\n2. Accounting &TMVOversight\nSupportIBORaccounting activities including journal entries, accruals, and valuation checks\n\nReview trial balances and assist inTMVvalidation processes\n\nEnsure adherence to accounting standards and internal control frameworks\n\n3. Exception Handling & Risk Control\nMonitor exceptions and escalate high-risk items in a timely manner\n\nEnsure compliance with operational risk and control procedures\n\nParticipate in audits and provide required documentation and explanations\n\n4. Process Improvement & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention\n\nSupport automation initiatives and system enhancements\n\nContribute to standardization and documentation of processes\n\n5. Stakeholder Management\nAct as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners\n\nProvide clear and concise reporting on reconciliation status and key issues\n\nCollaborate with front office, fund accounting, and technology teams\n\n6. Team Contribution\nMentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing\n\nAssist in workload management and ensure timely deliverables\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA/CFA/CPA is a plus)\n\n10 + years of experience in middle office, fund accounting, or reconciliation roles\n\nStrong understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives preferred)\n\nExperience with reconciliation tools and accounting systems\n\nKey Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\n\nGood understanding of financial markets and investment operations\n\nEffective communication and stakeholder management\n\nAbility to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment\n\nPreferred Competencies\nKnowledge of reconciliation platforms (e.g., TLM, DUCO, IntelliMatch)\n\nExposure to automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, RPA)\n\nUnderstanding of regulatory and audit requirements\n\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
