As a self-service reporting team, we tackle some of the bank’s most complex global reporting requirements.\nIn this Officer, Report Development role, you will be an individual contributor (no direct reports) responsible for designing and delivering dynamic client-facing reports via MyStateStreet (State Street’s client web portal). You will serve as a subject matter expert in State Street’s Interactive Report Designer (IRD) platform, developing reporting solutions that support global requirements across the CDFS (Custody, Digital, and Fund Services) domain. Success in this role will be measured by timely, high-quality delivery of reporting products that meet diverse client needs.\nRole Overview\nThe Officer will lead the creation of reports for State Street’s Investment Services clients. This includes working closely with data experts and product teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations and reports. The ideal candidate is technically skilled in BI/reporting tools and data warehousing, with a strong capacity to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver solutions on time in a fast-paced, global environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop reports using IRD and visualizations using Manage Card Designer (MCD)\n\nAnalyze large-scale datasets and contribute to data modelling and data mart design.\n\nImplement reporting and visualization solutions using BI suites such as Jasper, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet.\n\nApply strong SQL skills for data analysis, query optimization, and validation.\n\nCollaborate with data sourcing teams and product stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with business logic.\n\nAct as a subject matter expert for IRD, supporting ad-hoc report creation and issue resolution.\n\nStay current with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, and tools like Data Bricks, Snowflake, and EDW.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\nExpertise in State Street’s IRD platform in preferred but not required.\n\nProficiency in BI tools such as JasperReports, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet.\n\nStrong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data warehouse environments.\n\nKnowledge of data governance and data quality techniques.\n\nFamiliarity with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, Snowflake, and Databricks.\n\nUnderstanding of front, middle, and back-office investment operations and trade lifecycle.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs on time.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related field.\n\n6+ years of experience in data analysis, dashboard design, and business intelligence.\n\nExperience with financial reporting, data warehousing, and BI tool architecture.\n\nFamiliarity with SDLC or Agile methodologies.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
