You will be responsible for driving the vision, prioritization, and delivery of core platform services such as web browser based technologies, modernizing our UI frameworks for both thick and thin clients, and creating core platforms that are shared and used as standards across multiple product teams. These technologies include (but not limited to), React, FDC3 standards, C#, Portal Technologies, and Figma.\nThis is a highly technical role requiring close collaboration with engineering, architecture, and security teams to ensure our platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with the evolving needs of our product ecosystem.\nWhy This Role Is Important to Us\nYou will join the Platform Core Services team within the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), a market-leading SaaS platform that powers front-to-back investment workflows for some of the world’s largest financial institutions.\nAs we scale our platform, your leadership will be critical in evolving our infrastructure to support modern development practices, improve operational efficiency, and enable rapid innovation across the organization.\nWhat You Will Be Responsible For\nOwn and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for backend platform services including converting C# based UIs to new React modern tech stack, creating and building out of the box UI widgets, building out both thin and thick client UI interfaces.\nDrive cross-functional alignment across engineering, architecture, security, and operations to ensure the server framework's capabilities meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.\nLead product discovery and technical deep dives, translating complex infrastructure needs into clear product requirements and actionable roadmaps.\nPromote a smooth developer experience, ensuring platform services are intuitive, well-documented, and enable rapid development across product teams.\nEvaluate and integrate third-party tools and frameworks that enhance platform capabilities and reduce time-to-market.\nMentor junior product managers and business analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nTrack and report on key platform metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability across initiatives.\nQualifications\n10+ years of experience in technical product management, platform engineering, or infrastructure strategy within a SaaS environment.\nDeep understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes), event-driven systems, and authentication/authorization frameworks.\nProven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-impact platform capabilities.\nStrong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineers and architects.\nExperience with Azure cloud services and enterprise security/compliance requirements.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\nMBA or advanced technical degree preferred.\nExperience in financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.\nExperience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) for Agile project management and collaboration.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.\nSalary Range:\n$110,000 - $207,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
