The role involves developing, automating, and maintaining tools and processes that support critical financial workflows including reporting, reconciliation, and operational risk management. The Ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities combined with an understanding of financial products, systems, and operational processes.\nA talented and self-driven individual able to leverage strong IT experience (Python development) to manage a growing automation demand. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with global business stakeholders to design, develop, and implement high-quality automation solutions that align with business requirements while adhering to development best practices, organizational standards, and industry guidelines.\nThe role requires effective management of a development pipeline, including effort estimation, and delivery planning. The individual will also be responsible for performing thorough testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of implemented solutions.\nThe ideal candidate demonstrates a proactive approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, highest development standards and a continuous learning mindset. A willingness to adopt emerging technologies, development standards, and best practices is essential for success in this role.\nYour new role\nAs a Project Manager with Python, Officer you will:\nDesign, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions and applications (Python) based on business and technical requirements\nIdentify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technology-driven improvements across multiple business functions\nCreate new tools that aim to save time, risk and improve quality Perform Project Analysis of requirements received for each development effort\nManage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support\nEngage the existing development resources to ensure best practices are being applied and/or promote new best practices\nManage/maintain oversight of the promotion and demonstration of strategic initiatives\nCollaborate with global stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with strategic objectives\nContinually review and redefine development processes e.g. learn new methods\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support materials in line with organizational standards\nProvide regular status reporting to the project/program leads and management\nMonitor project progress, communicate development status, and proactively manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies\nEnsure timely delivery of technology solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and maintainability\nEnsure compliance with internal control frameworks, audit standards, and data security policies\nConduct ad hoc reports, administration, projects and tasks as required\nWhat we value\nQualifications and Previous Experience needed to succeed in the role:\nA University Degree in banking/finance, technology/IT or related field\n3-plus year experience with proven process automation using Python, data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy), and API integration.\n5-plus years of experience in financial operations or a similar environment\nFamiliarity with object oriented programming\nFurther qualifications in IT related field would be an asset\nAny other programming language knowledge would be a plus\nFamiliarity with Agile development methods would be an advantage\nSolid understanding of financial products (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and trade lifecycle will be beneficial\nAdvanced command of English language\nPreferred Skills and Competencies:\nAnalytical thinking and problem solving skills\nDemonstrated excellence in organizational, time management skills\nBe comfortable in giving trainings and presentations\nBe a team player by working with other team members to deliver work within agreed deadlines\nCommunicate effectively with others and seek clarifications where required\nConduct research or seek help when required\nProactively resolve inquiries and exceptions on a case-by-case basis\nWork organization requirement:\nHybrid work model: 3 days of office work per week\nMinimum Salary:\nzł132,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
