Supporting all asset classes, the platform produces analytics such as: stress testing, value at risk (VaR), position specific analytics for derivatives (delta, gamma, vega etc.) and fixed income characteristics such as duration and convexity\nJob Description:\nAs an Sr Risk Analyst in the Investment Risk Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring client portfolios adhere to regulatory and mandate-driven guidelines. You will combine deep subject matter expertise with operational experience to drive quality, efficiency, and scalability in our service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:\nSubject Matter Expertise & Query ResolutionEnsure active participation and ownership of new client onboarding\nManage systematic model testing for VaR, Vol, TE, stress testing and support Back testing.\nAddressing client queries on investment risk related concepts.\nStrong understanding on security valuation, fix mis valuations on IRS, Swaps, TRS etc\nTo provide timely and accurate market data for internal Market risk systems.\nAnalyze time series data for information content that may be of use to Risk Managers, such as market liquidity, hedge efficiency\nSupport the Client relationship team in ensuring streamlined Investor communications \nThe role involves understanding the various processes to generate the risk numbers retrieved by various risk feeds. This will involve evaluation and analysis of Market risk exposures by employing statistical and other approaches.\nResponsible for accurate and timely processing, operations and controls\nProvide support, resolve client issues, and demonstrate a firm understanding of the product.\nKey focus on service delivery excellence and ability to work under pressure.\n\nSkills/Experience Required\nUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; FRM or CFA certification or pursuing preferred.\n6 + years of Financial services experience in Investment operations.\nGood understanding of all financial instruments including complex OTC products.\nUnderstands regulatory requirements like UCITS, AIFMD, ESMA etc.\nAbility to work and communicate with people across organizational units.\nStrong risk mitigation, problem solving, and decision making skills.\nAbility to think critically and resolve complex problems.\nAbout State Street\nAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
