This role connects process discovery, future-state design, automation and AI, implementation and continuous improvement.\nAbout the team - Alpha Intelligence\nAlpha Intelligence is State Street’s AI & Automation Center of Excellence for Alpha Implementations - the team rewiring how the industry’s first front-to-back platform gets delivered. We turn the deep expertise locked inside our implementation teams into engineered processes, governed knowledge and intelligent agents that cut manual effort, compress client go-live timelines and make every implementation faster and more predictable than the last.\nWe operate as one global team across the US, UK, Europe, India and APAC, combining process engineering, automation delivery, AI platform engineering and responsible-AI governance under a single roof. We work on real client implementations, not pilots that sit on a shelf - what we build is adopted, measured and scaled. If you want to shape how AI is applied to one of the most complex delivery landscapes in financial services, this is the team to do it in.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nSupport process discovery sessions, interviews and walkthroughs with subject-matter experts, capturing detailed notes and process steps accurately.\nDraft and maintain process maps, workflow documentation, business rules, exception paths and control points using approved templates and notation.\nCurate, structure and tag knowledge content - procedures, decision logic, reference material - so it can be used effectively for search, RAG and agent solutions.\nCarry out data gathering and basic analysis on volumes, effort, exceptions and rework to support opportunity assessment.\nAssist in identifying automation and AI candidates from documented processes and in preparing supporting material for intake reviews.\nValidate documented content with subject-matter experts, incorporate feedback and maintain version control and asset hygiene.\nSupport testing and validation of knowledge assets, checking retrieved content for accuracy, relevance and completeness.\nMaintain the process and knowledge asset repository, ensuring content is current, correctly classified and easy to find.\nProvide regular progress updates on assigned tasks and flag issues or blockers promptly.\nCollaborate with global CoE colleagues across time zones and contribute to continuous improvement of templates and standards.\nWhat we value\nStrong attention to detail and pride in producing clear, accurate documentation.\nWillingness to learn quickly - both the Alpha domain and emerging AI and automation techniques.\nOwnership of assigned deliverables and the discipline to complete them on time.\nClear written and verbal communication.\nA collaborative, delivery-focused attitude in a global team environment.\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role\n8-10 years of experience in business analysis, process documentation, operations or automation/testing support, preferably within financial services.\nUnderstanding investment management or capital markets operations and the trade lifecycle across front, middle and back office.\nExposure to process mapping and documentation tools (Visio, BPMN, UiPath Task Capture or equivalent).\nAwareness of automation platforms such as UiPath and of AI/GenAI concepts including RAG and knowledge structuring.\nGood analytical skills with working proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, JIRA and Confluence.\nAbility to organize work, manage multiple tasks and deliver to agreed timelines.\nFlexibility to work across APAC, UK or US time zones as required.\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Technology, Engineering, Finance, Management or Information Systems.\nCertifications in process excellence, automation or AI are an advantage.\nInterested but do not meet every qualification?
