This role requires deep expertise in Managed File Transfer (MFT) technologies, automation, cloud security, and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will drive the modernization, automation, and governance of file transfer workflows, ensuring compliance, performance, and operational efficiency.\nThe position requires effective communication and technical skills with a willingness to learn and implement best-in-class tools and strategies. The candidate must be willing to design and implement solutions, work on new technology projects and improve the current Data Transport application stack.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nAs Data Transport Engineer, you will\nDesign and implement highly available, scalable, and secure MFT solution across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments\nManage and optimize enterprise MFT platforms (Axway B2Bi, IBM Connect Direct) and provide Level 3 support for business-critical workflows\nImplement observability & logging using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana\nProvide technical leadership, best practices, and knowledge sharing for Operational team\nEffectively participate in ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity management\nServe as a client liaison and a point of escalation for internal and external customers\nWork on continuous service improvement focusing on automation and service standardization\nInitiate and manage vulnerability remediation, patching, upgrades, and hardware life cycle to ensure we remain current with technology solutions and meet client needs.\nWhat we value\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role\n8+ years of experience in Managed File Transfer (MFT) administration, automation, and Cloud integration\nDeep understanding of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS/SSH/CD)\nHands-on experience with Managed File Transfer platforms such as Axway B2Bi, Interchange, Sentinel, IBM-Connect Direct or other MFT platforms and in-house File Transfer solutions\nExperience on SSL certificates renewals, PGP encryption/decryption process and authentication procedure in Connect Direct via Secure+\nStrong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform)\nGood to have exposure on Premier DataOne products like Spazio, MFX and IBM Control Centre, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy\nExperience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)\nExperience on Autosys jobs scheduler\nExperience with Linux/Windows Operating systems\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications\nBS in Computer Science or equivalent\nCloud certifications (AWS, Azure)\nExperience migrating on-prem MFT to Cloud-based solutions\nAdditional requirements\nExcellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to multitask, manage high-priority initiatives and coordinate the activities with Service Delivery and Engineering teams to completion.\nAbility to work in a team setting with a diverse group: operations support resources, SSC client services representatives, application and service delivery teams.\nWork Schedule\nNo Hybrid Working.
