Design\nDesign, implement, and integrate enterprise observability solutions to improve system reliability, availability, and performance.\nEvaluate observability technologies through Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives and demonstrate solution effectiveness to stakeholders.\nGather and analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable observability architectures and implementation plans.\nRecommend monitoring strategies and best practices that align with organizational objectives and operational goals.\nAct as a technical consultant in the transformation and modernization of IT operations and application support processes.\nMonitoring and Observability Engineering\nDesign and implement proactive and reactive alerting strategies that deliver actionable insights to various technical teams.\nImplement synthetic monitoring solutions for critical web applications, portals, and APIs to ensure service availability and continuity.\nDevelop log monitoring capabilities utilizing pattern recognition, metric extraction, and anomaly detection techniques.\nDeploy and optimize Real User Monitoring (RUM) solutions for web and mobile applications to measure and enhance user experience.\nBuild operational and business-focused dashboards that correlate technical performance metrics with key business outcomes and KPIs.\nDynatrace and Platform Engineering\nLead the design, deployment, and optimization of Dynatrace-based observability platforms.\nDevelop custom Dynatrace extensions and integrations to support advanced monitoring and automation use cases.\nCreate API-driven deployment and configuration solutions that enable observability-as-code practices.\nSupport platform standardization and scalable deployment models across multiple environments.\nLead and support migration initiatives, including transition from Dynatrace Managed deployments to Dynatrace SaaS environments.\nAutomation and Continuous Improvement\nDevelop automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve operational efficiency, and increase service reliability.\nDrive automation of repetitive operational and support activities to reduce costs and improve service delivery.\nPromote observability-as-code and infrastructure automation practices to enable consistent and repeatable deployments.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness using automation, analytics, and modern engineering practices.\nDevOps and Site Reliability Engineering\nImplement and promote DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across supported platforms and applications.\nContribute to post-incident reviews and postmortem activities to drive continuous service improvement.\nSupport capacity planning and reliability engineering initiatives through data-driven insights and monitoring strategies.\nAssist teams in establishing and managing service reliability objectives and error budgets.\nProcess Excellence\nApply structured problem-solving and design-thinking methodologies to help teams define challenges and develop effective solutions.\nPromote Lean principles and continuous improvement practices to increase team productivity and service quality.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience in enterprise observability, application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, or Site Reliability Engineering.\nStrong expertise with Dynatrace or comparable observability platforms.\nExperience implementing synthetic monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), log analytics, dashboards, and alerting solutions.\nExperience developing automation and API-based integrations.\nKnowledge of DevOps, SRE, incident management, capacity planning, and operational best practices.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.\nExperience working with globally distributed teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.\n\nSuccess Measures\nA successful SRE Engineer will:\nImprove visibility into application, infrastructure, and user experience performance.\nReduce operational overhead through automation and observability-as-code practices.\nEnable faster detection and resolution of performance and reliability issues.\nDeliver scalable monitoring and alerting solutions aligned with business requirements.\nSupport successful platform modernization and observability transformation initiatives.\nStrengthen adoption of DevOps, SRE, and continuous improvement practices across the organizatio\nSalary Range:\n$90,000 - $157,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
