The \nrole combines enterprise software engineering skills with AI-enabled development \npractices to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and enhance operational efficiency. \nCOMPASS is being delivered through a phased rollout strategy that includes outbound \nintegrations, business workflow migration, and full platform adoption.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Development\nDesign, develop, test, and support enterprise applications within the COMPASS platform.\nBuild and maintain APIs, microservices, batch processes, and integration components.\nParticipate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, development, testing, and defect resolution.\nDevelop automated unit, integration, and regression tests.\nSupport production readiness, release activities, and post-release stabilization. System Integration\nDevelop integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, messaging, file transfers, and cloud services.\nParticipate in system integration testing and end-to-end validation activities.\nTroubleshoot and resolve integration, data, and application issues.\nSupport onboarding of new counterparties and business workflows to COMPASS. AI-Enabled Engineering\nUtilize Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery efficiency.\nApply Generative AI for code generation, test automation, documentation, troubleshooting, and knowledge management.\nDevelop and support AI-driven solutions for operational automation, data analysis, and workflow optimization.\nEvaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve developer productivity. Quality & DevOps\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.\nFollow secure SDLC, coding standards, and quality practices.\nParticipate in peer code reviews and continuous improvement activities.\nSupport monitoring, observability, and performance optimization initiatives. Collaboration\nWork closely with business analysts, product owners, architects, QA teams, and operations teams.\nCollaborate with global teams across APAC, EMEA, and North America.\nSupport project documentation, technical design reviews, and knowledge sharing activities. Required Qualifications Technical Skills\n2-3 years of software development experience.\nStrong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.\nExperience with Oracle SQL and relational databases.\nUnderstanding of API integration, file processing, and enterprise application development.\nFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery. AI Skills\nExperience using AI coding assistants such as Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot.\nUnderstanding of Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled software development.\nInterest in applying AI tools to improve engineering productivity and business processes. Soft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities.\nWillingness to learn new technologies and business domains.
